I have an '84 Mondial cab for sale located in Rochester. Rossa Corsa, tan interior, new black top, major service,31,000 miles, and too much to list. A simply beautiful looking, running, and driving example. Let me know if you are interested.

Hey David Feinberg...I assume you mean a 512 Berlinetta Boxer. Well, yeah, that would be REAL nice. However...as I mentioned, I'm a "Joe Regular" and unless the car is a basket case, it is likely going to be too expensive for me.

If you actually meant a 308 and it was a typo... get back to me :-)

Don't fight it...
Give in.
Have an 88 Mondial coupe. Love it. Very versatile in the Ferrari world. Its comfy for bigger drivers, small back seat an still exotic.
As mentioned also relatively inexpensive.

There's a BB living at my house...and I've outside of Rochester, as well. 25 year multi-Ferrari owner, if you'd like to talk in more detail about your decision.

Regards,
David

Mike,

I am in a similar boat, I am slowly losing the fight.

The GT4 is definatly a "different" car, but that is sort of what makes it attractive to me. The problem is, and this goes for the Mondial Coupe as well, is that they are REALLY hard to find, and when you do, they are usually not in great shape. If I ever see one that is really good, and is in the color combo I like (and is for sale), I will probobly buy it.

Wither way, all the 308s are great cars, IMHO, it is just a matter of personal taste.

From what I've read I'd go with the308GTB/GTS. There was an acticle in Evo this past July about the it and with nothing put praise for the 308GTB/GTS. Forget the Mondial and the GT4 and go with the GTB/GTS.

Hi all. I'm just outside of Rochester, NY and I'm finally losing my battle with the Ferrari disease. I have been a sportscar nut since I got my license and have had some decent cars over the years.

However, as you well know... Ferrari fever just takes over at some point. I've had the chance to ride in several Ferrari's and even drove a 308 a few years back at Watkins Glen. They are sweet!

Anyways, what is everyones opinion on the 3 affordable models that are available to regular folkks like me? I have been looking around at the following models:

- 308 GTB ( I like the fixed roof better )
- 308 GT4 ( The styling is love/hate for me )
- Mondial coupe ( a clean design and very reasonably priced

So, what do you New Yorkers have? How has your car treated you? What do you do for winter storage? What are you're opinions on the 3 models I mentioned?

Thanks in advance for any information. I have already read the 308 FAQ's and buying guides. I think I know what to "look for" at this point. Now, I'm looking for more detail regarding model to model comparisons.
