Sorry I haven't been around much. Between my divorce, moving to a new place, work, etc. I've had no free time to plan this get-together. Anyway, as a bachelor I am now free to do what I want to, so how about a 4th of July get-together/beach party at my house in Westhampton? (I got to keep the cars!!). Saturday July 6th would work for me. I have a private beach, pool, etc. and parking for about 15-16 cars (and can arrange additional parking with my neighbors). We can BBQ.

Let me know the interest level by posting here.

I read somewhere that the June 23 is at Watkins Glen, I can't find out where I saw it though (I came home from school and like half a dozen Ferrari magazines, letters were waiting, so I can't figure out which one it was). It was in an ad on the bottom of the page on the left side when you opened the magazine. Just check to make sure that it's at LRP. I'm game for going to both May 26th and June 23rd.

June 23 is the Ferrari Challange & Historic Challange race at Limerock Park. I usually go to this and the Vintage Car Festival in Sept. Great show and only a 1/2 hr. from my home. Good time to be had and a great ride in the upstate NY and Conn. areas. Food for thought (don't forget the wine)

Do you get tickets at the door or do you have to order in advance? Providing I'm not doing anything else I would be interested in taking a ride up there.

I'd be game for everything. Karting would be cool as hell. We can do both. Maybe one weekend we'll hit up just a drive and then another soon after hit up the karts. I wont be able to go second week of May though I don't think, it falls right in the middle of finals, like the 11th to 18th or something like that. First weekend or last weekend though I'm game.

Could possibly get my Jag by then :-). Not quite a Ferrari, but hey, for a 17 year old, I am not gonna complain.

1st/2nd weekend in May good too. Should have the 360 shipped up here by then. Most rentals begin Memorial Day, so traffic not too bad before then. Easy to get to Wethampton anyway.

An upstate drive sounds great too. Whatever we all agree on.

sounds like a good idea. I have a few people who I have discussed Karting with and are into Ferrari also. Sounds great. weekend before Memorial day is OK too, could it be to close for the Hamptons crowd traffic? maybe a week or two earlier. just a thought

Solly;

I still like the idea of a nice drive up North that ends at the CIA. I think we should stil plan something like that even if it is above the Karting which I would do also.

I'm going to move this topic here. Tentative date:Weekend before Memorial Day (still low traffic).

I found a karting track with kart rentals open for business near my home (Westhampton). Anyone up for a get-together and a day of karting? Rates are pretty reasonable.
