    Hi Gents -

does anyone have a decisive photo of the Dinos' jack...
I seem to have 5 damn jacks from 105 GTV Alfas I own and have owned in the past and one from the Dino.
My problem is there is very little to distinguish the difference between the two....
I've done some searches on FChat however, none of the threads I found gave me a definitive answer.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    James

I can take one if you need it. It's from S/N 07412 (late '73 production), though I'm sure they didn't change. I had photos that were lost in a computer crash, but easy enough to take some more.

It's a column jack with a crank handle, painted yellow.

Early style Dino jack on the left, I believe for early cars ("L" and "M"?) with the Dino jack on the right for later, "L" series cars

Good info on the jacks. My jack has a missing top cap. Anyone got a picture of the cap??

    Thanks

Just correcting Synchro's typo. I know the Jack with the thin peg is for an early car and the one on the right is for a Series "E" car. I'm not sure when they peg diameter got larger. Perhaps from "L" to "M". Perhaps from "M" to "E". Perhaps sometime in between. We are talking about Ferrari after all.

Any decent paint shop can match a chip of the original color on your jack and mix you up a new can. That's what I did during my restoration.

The Dino Compendium states the smaller diameter was for 206 on P. 107, with a change to the large diameter for the 246 GT series L on P. 145

they have a whole bunch of stuff, I'd call them to see EXACTLY what they have.

It didn't look quite right to me, but it's been some time since I've seen one up close and personal. :D
