Dino Berlinetta Speciale
A bit of a sister car to the well-known Dino Competizione is this "Berlinetta Speciale" . Introduced to the public on the Pininfarina Stand at the Paris Auto Show in 1965 and was designed by Aldo Brovarone. Today this highly original car is displayed in the Le-Mans Museum. Here are some pictures of the car which i took this summer during the 24H of Le-Mans. Hope you enjoy them!

Last two... I have mentioned it before. The car is highly original and has some great patina. I love it! Still looks amazing after all these years!

Like your Dino Competizione the Berlinetta Speciale (#0840) was build using a Dino 206S/SP chassis. Engine should be the 2 Litre V6.

History of the PF Dino Belinetta Speciale
I've always been curious as to how the 206 Dino Berlinetta Speciale ended up in the Le Mans museum?
Are they the outright owner of this car or is the car on-loan from an outside owner? I'm curious as to the chain of ownership of this incredible and significant showcar since it left Pininfarina. |

I had a model of this fantastic looking car when I was a boy. It was blue iirc and made maybe by Corgi. Does it have an engine and run?

It was my "Dream Car" in the sixties, and it still is today. As much as I love my two Dinos, they don't have the rawness of the Berlinetta Speciale. It was a design breakthrough, the likes of which we haven't seen since. Fred
