I ordered two sets of these covers from Unobtainium Supplies and they arrived today. They are excellent reproductions and I received great service from Verell.

yes, earlier Dinos, at least M- and L-series had the Klippan script...
the change must have been during E-series production
would be interesting to know if early E-series Dinos still had the Klippan script?!
    Any examples out there?
    Regards Matthias

My M-01712 has the KLIPPAN script covers. Also to note is that the underside of these is also different than the non-script versions pictured.

If someone will loan me 1 or 2 of these in good condition I'll be happy to make molds. The clips on the bottom are somewhat similar to the ones on these covers from a '81 GTSi.

Took a bit of head scratching, but came up with a mold design that made them in 1 piece.

Sorry, but I'm not quite up to doing seat belts, If the BMW 2002 belts are correct, I may be able to source them. Happens my son works in the parts dept of a local BMW dealer.

Bottoms may be the same (or similar), but top texture in your pic is not correct.

Verell, I have a 308 Fiberglass that has no seat belt bracket's. Would you know which kind my car would use? I have attached a picture of the belt without a cover. I sure could use two.......................Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I believe it is style B shown in post #1 of this thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=220325

Birdman has a '75, I will check to see which his car uses.

Was not suggesting a replscement, just illustrating that I know how to make a mold that accommodates a similar bottom mechanism.

    Hello Sal,
If you'll eMAIL me the size of a box end wrench that fits your bracket bolts I can tell you if the hole in the covers is correct for your 246GTS.

I want to thank HMB-Dino for loaning me his KLIPPAN seat belt covers. They are deffinitely assymetric, so I'll be selling them as left & right pairs.

I expect to start work on the mold later this week, while I"m waiting for the 1st half of the door pocket mold to cure. Production should start in January.

    Last Friday I received a phone request for 2 Dino seat belt covers, & believed I'd received eMAIL from the requestor so I could send him PayPal invoice. Unfortunately I was wrong, didn't receive his eMAIL, was confusing it with something else I'd received. :-{

I will have the 2 covers ready to ship Monday as I promised.

If you ordered these, please send eMAIL to [email protected], call, or PM me with your eMAIL so I can send you a PayPal invoice & ship your covers.

Thanks for your patience, I know it's been a lot longer than any of us ever thought, but the end is in sight:

The 1st half of the mold is curing. If all goes well I'll do the 2nd half tomorrow & make the 1st trial parts early next week!

Designing & making the mold's 1st half is the time consuming fiddly 90+% of the project. Making the 2nd mold half goes very quickly, usually it takes 2 days.

I need help. A customer asked me:
I know the covers I borrowed were used for the shoulder bracket, but I don't know if they were also used for the brackets alongside the seats. If they were, how many were used where?

Along which side of the seats...at the center console attach point or the outer attach point? I would expect the outer attach point to be handled differently depending on whether your Dino has static vs retractible seat belts.

I understood the KLIPPAN belts did not have retractors, am I mistaken?

I was asking for the belt attach w/o retractors. Did they use the same covers as the shoulder belt bracket, or something different?

If different, a picture would be useful.
