while i'm going over the whole car...recovering dash, rebuilding engine, clutch, etc...i've discovered something slightly irksome-the fluid box cover (don't know the proper name, so i've made one up!) has vanished-can i get one, or do i have to buy the entire plastic rig..?

I have never seen the lid available on its own so you may be forced to buy the whole thing if you want everything perfect. An in-between would be to contact some of the vendors who sell the whole piece and ask them if they have one that was damaged in transport. If so they may cut you a deal on just the lid as the rest of the part would otherwise be un-saleable.

Also if this is a pic of your car then your windshield washer jet is off by 90 degrees. The way they are if you spray them you will wash the car next to you :)

But also note it's fiberglass, not the original plastic.

that's the whole idea! i just like to help other people out by spontaneously washing their windshields (or faces) :)

Have plenty of them in stock, as I re-manufactured the complete batchboards for the early

206/246 L version with the aluminum lid, and the E version with the fiberglass lid.

Pm me and I will be more than glad to help. I also have the knurled bolt for it.

    Regards, Alberto

About 5 years ago I bought the fibre glass version from superformance. It looked quite different to my original plastic moulded one (cracked in the usual area around the fluid fil flap). Since (~3 years ago) I purchased original type from Maranello spares Egham UK. Perfect match. Only difference was the hinge which was silver zinc plated rather than original brass. Easy to transfer original hinge via careful drilling out of rivets. Careful though, these mouldings are fragile.

Iain, looks like superformance now supply the correct plastic moulded version. Looks good. I see the correct brass hinge as well. Kevin

Is the Superformance plastic one the same miserable plastic as the original? Or something more sturdy? I'm getting tired of replacing these every 10 years or so!

Any suppliers this side of the pond?

Superformance has been out of stock of the plastic servo cover (part #24603045) for more than a year. I would love to find one from another available supplier if anybody has any ideas...

I'm actually looking for the complete assembly: the lid and the plastic moulding it attaches to.

Lovely Dino, I see at least 3 trim screws holding the Batchboard in place, how many screws in total? Perhaps 5?
    Thank you

Excellent illustration Iain. Are there anyone that knows how the glass fiber batch board is mounted in the 206 / early L series cars, I only have 2 holes for trim screws in the top and a M5 mm screw in the lower right part of board?

    Best regards Peter
