Loved seeing the Rosso Dino 206 - maybe I'll want to keep mine when it comes back from the body shop after all! What colour is the 206 next to the 458? Surely not orig colour???
Five 206s in one spot today seems like a lot. Do that number typically show up at a national FCA or large European meet?
Was the dark blue 206 Dino GT *00156*? If someone can contact the owner, I have a couple of color photos (dated Mar 69) of it that were taken at Crepaldi in late 1968 or early 1969. Freeman
According to our great Dino detective, Matthias, *00156* was delivered in Blu Sera Metallizzato 106-A-18 (if it's the same 206GT as seen here). I think Viola is much more purple. This one looks like a dark blue. Can't tell if it's metallic or not. Freeman
Was thinking it was a very early 206 in viola that ended up in Japan... thank you for the clarification. Cheers Pietro
I hope Matthias will chime in and shed some light. It just looks more like dark blue to me vs Viola. As Bob Lutz has been heard to say, "Many times wrong but never sorry!" Freeman
Freeman and Matthias - apologies - had this one confused with 10523... which is also in Japan. The Dino Register - Dino Search Cheers Pietro
Maybe it is. Hard to tell the color from the photos. Maybe our Japanese Dino enthusiasts will chime in. Freeman
