The English language portion of the title page for Ferrari's Classiche Certification reads:

"('Ferrari') hereby certifies that, subject to the qualifications as outlined in the enclosed technical file, if any, the following car (the 'Car') is authentic."

So, I wonder what would happen if you stuffed a 246 engine into the engine bay of a fiberglass re-bodied Pontiac Fiero (or, somewhere into a 1993 Mazda based Dino 246gts tribute - see this FCHAT thread - http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/206-246/440110-dino-too-valuable-drive.html ), bolted in some proper Dino seats into the interior, swapped out the dashboard (even if you hacked it up a little), slapped the standard ID tags in it, and glued some "designo di Pininfarina" badges on it, could you get it Classiche Certified "subject to the qualifications as outlined in the enclosed technical file"?

Maybe there's a "Whirled Class" Ferrari Dealer somewhere who is searching to make his payroll "nut" for this month and that would be willing to take my money for a Classiche Certification?
