Was that the bid price or the final price including buyers fees?

Thanks Iain. I just saw the car on the Bonham's site. I calculated it was £232,500 plus premium

I thought Dinos didn't have matching chassis and engine numbers.

"Chassis number '06176' benefits from several very desirable upgrades including modern air conditioning, lead-free cylinder head conversion, stainless steel exhaust, twin rear-view mirrors"

    What BS.

What "modern air conditioning" are they referring to?

You can see the compressor in the engine photo and the vents below the passenger dash.

I meant what brand. I know you can get AC installed in American muscle cars but had never heard of anyone doing that to a Dino

I have seen a couple done here in Houston that use York materials and blow through standard Dino vents. For the first time ever, I had to turn down the a/c in a Dino. It wasn't cheap, but it solved the problem and wasn't hardly even noticeable.

Was the A/C factory or dealer installed back in the day? I had a Texas VW Karmann Ghia with DPD A/C. I'm assuming back then it was mostly a US market thing.

You guys are not discussing anything relevant to this auctions thread...how about splitting off into a Dino AC thread?

And rather uninformed too (Mecum)...there were Euro GTS's too.

"Built solely for America from 1972-1974, the GTS replaced the GT’s small rear sail panel windows with triple louvres, and of course, the top comes off."

I just saw this car today. Rediculously priced, underpowered, and not a Ferrari. I sure would like one when the next downturn occurs.

The car is in Yreka, Ca. A place called TNT body shop. It is a European car. There is a little Bondo in the right rear quarter and the car is in green tinted primer. The cosmetics of engine look like it may be a low mile engine. I understand there was damage to the front end, due to the garage parking skills of its previous owner. Evidently, the car was painted red at one time and it is being repainted in its original green. It seems pretty straight other than some right side door margin issues but that may be due to old work at the right front fender.
