    Looks like lots of surprises and fun stuff at the bottom of the doors and sills!

    Yet another auction house error in their description. First a Bonham's car, now RM...

    1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
    Chassis no. 03292

    * One of only 497 M-Series Dinos

    RM has been made aware of this error in their catalogue...I'm quite impressed with how quickly they acknowledged my email pointing it out.

    Lot's of things about this car seem weird from the pictures.... Who was actually able to look it in person?

    The way both lower edges of the doors seems to dive before meeting the rockers is really odd, but could be just be a photo misreprestation.

    Plus 2.4% (20% VAT on the 12% comm). Total cost = £205,920 (in real money). ;-)

    I was there and the car was intro'd on the rostrum as an "M" (sadly)

    Tony,

    Can you give us an idea as to how this car looked in person?

    Shawn,

    With respect, no, not really. Two reasons:

    A) I'm no expert and don't really have much of a clue, so don't feel qualified.

    and

    B) I find it a bit harsh/disrespectful to someone who may have bought the car, especially if they are or in the future become an F-Chatter, to read other than complimentary views on their purchase.

    Kind regards,

    Tony
