Beautiful photography Corey ... it won't be everyone's cup of tea and that's just fine.

Given that most dino guys prefer original or at least period authentic I do not think you could expect lots of sales. The big old tires add a lot to the authentic look of a dino and this just doesn't look right.

What size are they Corey, 18's? The Dino is so small perhaps a 16" wheel would work better and it would still be a huge difference from the stock 14. Although I imagine current Dino values will see less people enjoying modifying their cars to their own taste these days.

Yes sir 18" staggered set up . Hre only offers 18" at the moment plus client wanted a modern retro look for his dino. I think he accomplished it very well. And putting his factory wheels is simple no harm no foul. I must agree not many dino owner will be doing this which made project even more fun and unique :)

Way too big. Im not even sure they would work on a 308/TR. I like the design of the wheels but not sure on which Ferrari.

It would be better as 16's.

Beautiful wheels, but there's something about them that just doesn't look right with the Dino body. I can't put my finger on it, but it just looks odd. I've seen similar things done with old British roadsters -- modular BBS wheels, etc, replacing wire wheels -- and it just looks jarring to me.

I guess the style of the wheels could be considered somewhat period correct, but not the aspect ratio. Sorry to pile on, but to my eyes, the large wheel / low profile tire setup does not look correct or good on a Dino.

Nice!!! I'm not a purist and think the factory wheels are ugly. Much better look for a classic. I think 17 would be prime

Nice wheels, but I agree they look too big. 17" wheels would look great, and would open up the whole 308/328 market where owners are looking for aftermarket wheels in 17" size.

Am I missing something? I don't see anything "period correct" about those wheels and tires. Hopefully you have the "correct" wheels safely stored away.

    1. It's not a Dino GT.
    2. The wheels and tires certainly aren't period correct style.

I'd also question the effect on handling. It seems to me the Dino suspension was designed for the amount of flex tall rubber would give: the bigger wheels will work quite differently.

I've always wondered why so many flame the owners who change from factory wheels.
Personally I think many of factory wheels looks better on other model i.e 355 on 348, 430 on 360.

And I believe that style HRE was popular during the 80s which wouldn't make them period correct Dino but for 308/328

Taller wider wheels usually improve handling and ride

Owners can do whatever they want and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, the wheels are so big that your eyes can't help but be drawn to them and the beautiful shape of the Dino is kind of lost in a sea of wheels. The lower profile tires do have the potential to increase cornering power, but they are pretty far out of the range of tires the suspension was designed for. Maybe somebody with chassis design experience can comment whether this is an issue or not.

OK, I'll bite! The wheels on their own are nice but the size is visually way too large for the proportion of the Dino. Gives the illusion of the Dino having too much ground clearance and a proportion reminding me of a donk. The 16" Cromodoras from Superformance or the Gottis on Corbani's Dino are really the limit in my opinion and look proportional. Thank you for sharing. Really nice shots.

I was waiting for you to chime in :)

To me, it looks like a life size version of a modern Hot Wheels toy car.

Those might look awesome on a 512 TR or Testarossa, or maybe a Mondial. They say 80s Ferrari to me not 60s, as was said before. But to each his own and wheels are an easy change.
