246 Dino crankcase breather thingy

    I seem to have misplaced that little piece that bolts into the air filter and then two plastic tubes that go to the inlet manifold .....I think It's a breather but have no idea really how it works and what it does and will the engine run normally without it....
    Can I just block off those two pipes until I can find one ( where ...??) or should I leave them open...
    Any advise please

    You should block off the two pipes or they will be drawing air into the inlet manifold - I have two bolts screwed into the tubes on mine as they are a nice tight fit and the threads help ensure they wont fall out. Unfortunately I have no idea where to get your missing piece though.

    You can block the pipes without any problems.

    Or buy the thing at Dinoparts. A friend managed to reproduce the item together with them.
