Hi Everyone, I just stumbled upon a Red 1973 Dino 246 GT with 73,*** miles in the Metro Detroit area at a place called Kip Shewards Motor Sports. I have no vested interest whatsoever and I really don't know anything about these cars. I just thought that, perhaps, someone in this discussion group might be interested in this Dino. I have not done any business with this dealer beyond a few conversations, so I can't vouch for him, but this car looks pretty nice and is priced at $297,500. Considering the upper end money these cars command these days, this might be a good buy for someone. Again, other than loving the design and beauty of the Dino, I don't know anything beyond a superficial understanding/knowledge of what these cars are in today's market. I just figured I would pass this information along in case it is some forumites dream car. If anyone is interested, I will leave a link: 1973 Used Ferrari Dino 246 GT Red at Kip Sheward Motorsports Serving Farmington Hills, MI, IID 11358967 Enjoy in good health, Rob
Thanks for the info, serial number 06100 Was for sale last year at Cauley Ferrari, said to have a "frame up restoration" in 2005.
There's a few odd things about this Dino; - look at where the side mirror is positioned...it's just behind the vent window and almost looks like it's attached to the chrome window trim rather than the painted body metal (pics 6, 7, 14) - front side indicator lens seems oversize (pic 6) - may be it's the lighting, but the wheel hub center doesn't appear to be painted as it should be (pic 8) - trunk rear bulkhead doesn't appear to have the plunger for the license plate lights (pic 20)
