have you tried adjusting the preload? mine was condemned by the garage, I checked and adjusted the preload and it is as good as new. superformance do new ones. A cheap way to refurb is buy a mini LHD rack and use the new parts on your 246 rack, the same apart from the track rod ends and rack itself. mini LHD rack is £50!
