The USA cars had a label plate for the generator light GEN. I bought some extra plates to have some made. So far dead ends. I went to a trophy shop, silkscreen and vinyl sign shop. No luck yet, any suggestions on where or how I can get these printed. I asked Ita at Superformance if they could have some made but are in the middle of changing suppliers on these items.

I had someone run up a bunch of anodized plates with labeling on them for one of my MG restorations; I'll see if I can dig up their name. Only issue might be the odd shaping; mine were rectangular.

Companies which produce custom front panels and tags for devices/machines/tools can do this, anf they are used to small volume runs.

As example, one of the workshops here can mill/watercut/laser any shape from aluminum plates and then do the lettering via silk printing, anodizing or a super robust sub anodizing print process.

Laser engraving is quite common, is robust and is very economical, to boot.

Case in point - - I brought his cleaver home from Thailand. My friends at the cooking school (resort), signed their names in marker pencil. When I got home, I simply Dremel engraved over their ink. Because I wanted the establishment's logo on my knife as well, I took a sample of the logo to a laser engraving place here in Glendale, CA. They simply photographed the logo that I supplied, and did their magic as far as resizing, application etc.

    Cheers, Hank
