some interesting points to make.... the early brass version (206 GT until early M-series) isn`t precisely the same as the later steel version. The lower connecting tube is slightly shorter and a little bit different in angle... so that the steel version doesn`t fit into a 206 GT. Does anybody have a source of the original rubber mounting (two rubber plates and one steel bush) of the coolant tank. A set of two is needed. yes, superformance part #24610280 No-one else has them and I never found a ferrari part number for it. They list the other mounting hardware in the manual but not the rubber.
Agreed the Superformance part is the right one and it is critical to use the steel tube on the inside which allows the mounting bolt to be well tightened without compressing the rubber.
Found this one stuck under my bench with a mouse nest in it. Its brass but have no idea if its 206 or 246 coolant tank? Tony Image Unavailable, Please Login

that`s interesting.... my M-series #01406 has a steel one... What do other M-series have?! #01290 has a brass one too
Matthias, not an answer to your M series question, but for the thread, E series #7472 has a steel one. Fairly confident this is an original one. Kevin Image Unavailable, Please Login
