    Hi guys, another snagging issue today, the alternator cooling fan/pulley is rubbing on the body of the alternator, only slightly and only at certain revs. But annoying all the same. I don't have AC so I think I will be able to remove the pulley to install a spacer. question is has anyone achieved this without removing the heat exchanger? I don't know if there is enough movement in the pipes if I release the heat exchanger from the bracket?

    Does your alternator shaft have a tapered, woodruff key set?
    To remove the Alt, this is how I did it
