Yup. Bluetooth is a very important feature in a car where you can barely hear the stereo. I have yet to ride in a Dino where the quality of the stereo was a big issue. But, not a negative unless you're at a concours, where having a non-period correct radio might influence the judges' deductions. Oh, and about those books and tools? D
Also, was the dash re-covered by material from Reoriginals (which is solid black) versus the original charcoal type color which can be obtained from HVL in the Netherlands? Are the rear rectangular driving lights on the back panel still available with the car? Not trying to be critical, just trying to learn a little more about what looks to be a beautiful looking car.
I like the dash in the car being sold here, this is thousands of dollar$ and many hours of work to do. PS - Respectfully disagree about Henk's being the most original. While the result looks good, the original was flocked Dino vinyl and Henk's is neither flocked nor Dino vinyl. Check your areas of original mousehair, both my Dinos had a striking color difference. Since the 1980's the saying has been "Dino mousehair turns gray on cantact with sun" Image Unavailable, Please Login
Old newspapers kept in a box turn yellow. I bet the mousehair under the radio plate in the above photo didn't look like that new. There are things that age and change without exposure to UV.
Old newspapers turn yellow due to the acid content in the paper. So do comic books. Good paper, really good paper, Ferrari quality paper, does not yellow with age. It is acid and lignin free, and you pay a premium for it, just like a Ferrari. Mousehair, at least the modern replacements, doesn't seem to suffer as badly as the original stuff, which clearly, was an el cheapo approach to having a non glare surface on the dash.
