Hi can someone tell me the correct fixings for the front undertray (below steering rack) as the welded tabs appear to be threaded but they are not m6 or m8, m7 seems unusual.

Don't forget you can have 0.75 or 1.0 threads.

Think they are 0.75 from memory but could be wrong.

Try a tap die to find out which one, fit SS set bolts as they don't corrode

For my L series I use standard M6 metric slotted flat head screws bought here:

    Becherschrauben Auswahl: M6x8 - M6x50 EDELSTAHL A2 Rundkopfschrauben Schlitz | eBay

They are exactly the same style as the original M5 screws used on the inspection hatches on the larger bottom under tray so I assume this type of screws also were used on the front under try. They are also on the fiber glass inner panels etc. Unfortunately, the ebay screws are stainless steel and I have not been able to find the screws in ordinary steel.
    Best regards

    Brian,
A2 stainless in the UK have a good selection of these, mushroom head and close to you.
I've turned these down to be the same as the original low profile italian slot machine screws.
