    Hi,
Before I break something, has anyone managed to repair the rotating switch on the end of the side/dipped/main lights stalk? The vertical movement switching between the side, dipped and main works fine (I've rigged up temp switched earth to test).
Does the black end bit come off to expose the switch mechanism and is it repairable.
    Anyone got any pictures?
    Thanks in advance.
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
I successfully repaired that switch; you can, too! There is a very helpful thread that was started by dinodan on 03-23-2009, 12:46 PM. The title is Headlight Switch. Use the Search function to find it.
You may have to subscribe in order to search (Silver is only £10.61-ish for one year...well worth it.).
    Cheers,

We routinely repair this problem by casting a new contact holder onto the stalk & transferring the contacts or installing new contacts as appropriate.

To contact us just click on my name by this post & select [Send email to Verell].
