Hi Gents - so I pulled out my brake calipers that were plated many years ago and sadly they've corroded again (a decade in a cardboard box under the house will do that to you!). So they're off to get re-plated. Many internals took a beating as well and will have to be replaced. Given 2 somewhat questionable experiences with suppliers thus far I was hoping for any recommendations based on others experience for brakes and carbys. (Am sure all suppliers have their pros and cons / strengths and weaknesses - but want to limit further issues by throwing these questions to those that have climbed this mountain already) am after All Brake Caliper rebuild gear and then all the bits of kit required for carby and manifold any advice much appreciated - thanks heaps Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
brakes - Brake Parts for Ferrari 206 & 246 - Superformance I've used both suppliers for these particular parts, but was a few years ago.
I have bought the carb overhaul kit and all my brake parts including new caliper pistons and all new rubber seals from SF and have been pleased with the service provided, fit and quality. Regards Peter
Thanks Dave and Peter - I really appreciate the replies... love this forum! Once bitten twice shy so to speak with parts (there's some nice premiums to be paid for what seem like pretty cheap products with some suppliers!)
C&C Parts, who apparently do the work for many classic car specialists - but they accept work from end users, too (I just had the calipers for my Dino refurbished by them). Services : C&C Parts BV
