I saw it in person at our Aliso Viejo C&C some weeks back. It was really gorgeous. Lots of hours spent on this one! There's a website dedicated to the restoration: http://dinoferrariproject.com Freeman
Steve did a nice job on the car. I got to help out on a few things, overall it's very nice. He's like me it's all about the project and not about keeping! I believe he's asking $550,000
One thing we often lose sight of, the passion that created this beautiful creation. I am really surprised we have not been able to find a better way to bring the Dino into the cause to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy. One of my most prized possessions reminds me of the challenges we all face every day, but some face more than others. I went to Rancho Santa Margarita yesterday to inspect the car and it is truly spectacular. The lengths Steve went to during the restoration of the car are extraordinary. My business partner is not a fan of Rosso Dino so with deep regret we passed on the car. It would be a jewel in any collection.
Everything is for sale!!! That particular Dino of mine which is very rare Euro Spyder with flares (1 of 15) would have to be pried away! #07574
Someone is selling a bridge... probably a Bailey, so definitely Jon, everything is for sale, right? Regards, Alberto
Some more photos... Steve Kourakos and Beau Van Nornam. And Steve with Gary Bobileff who rebuilt the V6. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A decent European GT is listing for about $285K on EBay and elsewhere. If you add $200K for a restoration of this level and the two years it would take to get there Steve's price is not that far off IMHO.
