This morning, I quickly took something out of the passenger side of my car. When I opened the passenger door and reached in, I heard my instrument pod clicking away. I didn't have time to investigate. But has anyone else experienced this? What might it be?

Probably the clock. When they start to get wonky they can make an intermittent click-clack sound.

Yes, the clock. Which means you're lucky. It's working!

My first thought was it might be the clock. But WOW! It's loud when the engine is not running. But I'll try to confirm when I have more time.

    Thanks for the replies

I would say the clock. However, the Dino had an electric clock, which should be smooth. A Quartz clock would "click".

Either way, you should hear the noise inside the car regardless of a car door being open, either driver or passenger.
