Could someone help me source a little plate that fits the 2 holes in the picture. Thanks in advance.

I may have a new pair of those but not originals. Will have to look through my parts stash.

Thank you in advance. If you can't find it, do you recall where you got them or know the part number?

A fellow at T Rutlands years ago made the Dino bumper mount grommets and the window pieces you are looking for. I will do a quick check tonight. Pretty sure I have a pair, just have to look. They were a well made item. They or something similar might have been used on Fiats. Maybe worth a Google images search.

After breaking one of the 2 unobtainable plastic tabs that racerboy9 so kindly provided me with, I had a designer create the new molds for me and had them 3D printed in hard black plastic. If anyone is interested in these little tabs, please let me know. They cost about $40 each to print, but the price goes down if you order several at a time.

I doubt very much that there has been a plastic tab in this position originally on a 206 or 246 model. All I have ever seen is a stainless tab as the one DinoParts have made a nice replica of. The plastic tabs you are showing looks more like the "gasket" that goes between the small stainless tab and the stainless steel window frame. On my early 246 this gasket is made of thin gasket paper look alike stuff.

    Best regards Peter

Both of my Dinos '73 and '74 have the plastic tabs as well as on several spare frames and doors I have.

You are most likely right. I searched a bit and found the picture below showing a latch plate clearly looking like plastic. I rest my case. There is obviously more than one configuration on these cars.

    Best Peter

chrome is correct for 206 GT and L-series... with production of the M-series changed to black plastic (triangular frame changed to black)

I need to purchase some plastic ones, originals or repro's but they would have to be 100% the same. Any idea?

That part shows up in the blue 1970 Scaglietti catalog but doesn't show it as a separate part number. Looks to be the plastic variety. The page says 246 GT 607M.

Looks like the same part was used on the Daytona.

Well my old memory banks awakened and I remember now it was Bill Rudd's son Don that made the window catch pads as well as the bumper grommets that go next to the body work on the Dino. Both products were well made. He is running a restoration shop now. Maybe he would make another batch if asked. Here is his site: Home

This is what the Flares car has, although I'm replacing the current latches and sticking on the original ones. Note the rivoted holes where that plastic bit sits.
