Does anyone know what this dinoplex replacement is. With the new ignition does anyone still use the Antihop switch? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The ally finned box is a Mark X Delta (something) ignition. Used to have one on my Alfa in the 70's. It worked, very well, compared to nothing at all, if it did something, I do not know. Still have it somewhere. The rest of the stuff, no idea. Regards, Alberto
The other two items are the anti-hop device and relay related to the emissions system. If you don't have the system or it is disabled, you don't need them connected.
This is a 9 year-old thread that has been resuscitated. It is likely that the more recently updated Rebuilding a Dinoplex aec103a thread would also help others dealing with a Dinoplex and related ignition issues. The thread is listed below: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/206-246/276251-rebuilding-dinoplex-aec103a.html
It looks like it might be a Delta Mark 10C by the black cover over the transistors. If it is working, and you are happy with the performance, I would keep it. It is the best of the Delta Mark 10 series and you don't see them for sale that often. Fred
