Are the gears the same as early Porsche? I heard that somewhere. They are under a Porsche patent.

I show that gear to have 40 teeth.

I believe that it is the synchomesh system that is the same as Porsche and used under license to Ferrari. The gears AFAIK are specific to Ferrari

Might check with T-Rutlands as they had many gears years ago when Ted would let me roam around the warehouse. Some of their stuff at the time was not in their database. I would send a picture and the tooth count.

The same synchro carrier as an Alfa Romeo, without the gear, as it can be replaced and picked out from a high gear, because of less use (also kinder).

The transmissions become rather simple, once you take them apart and reassemble a few times.

Hello Matthias, I think I have found a gear. It is used but appears to be very good condition. I will get some pictures for you.
