Now that my Dino 2.4 Spider is now gone I am open for a replacement. I would not mind finding a good fully restored 246
There are a few good ones available. What is your price range for a fully restored Dino? You want a GT or GTS.
That budget can certainly get you into a driver quality GT, but I doubt you will find a correct and complete (all books/tools/jack/history/etc) fully restored car for less than 300. And of course everyone can cite the recent sale of the Rosso Rubino ex OMGJON restored GTS that was sold for around 270k by MAG, but I believe that was a huge anomaly.
Thanks everyone. One was offered to me over the holidays for 285 from a car dealer in Costa Mesa. I passed on it, it was not fully finished. I would rather have a car from an owner like myself that has nurtured the car for years and not months. I have time to wait for the right one to come along. I do miss the DINO sound. In the meanwhile, I drive my 59 speedster.
This '73 GTS looks like it's worth looking into. $295K. I have no affiliation. 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS | eBay Freeman
I am mostly interested in a GT euro version. Not red. In well looked after condition. Not a restoration project please. Must be a matching number car.
