Hi, Before I take it to a specialist, can any one advise what to check on to diagnose why the rear is sitting lower on one side. Its not the chassis or body.

    Thanks in advance.

Suspension wise could be something simple like a spring that has sagged? Has it always been like this Dino's were massivley different side to side.

???? If it's not the chassis or body, how do you know it ("rear" what ?) is lower ?

The first thing I would do is park the car on a level surface and measure the distance from the lower chassis tube to the ground. Do this on the left and right side to eliminate an un-even body from the equation. Assuming you record a discrepancy then look for the following things:

    - remove the wheels and look for a broken spring. Especially near the ends springs can crack over time which will cause a sag.

    - Bounce the rear corners of the car to see the rate at which the shock returns the body to a neutral position. A seized shock can prevent the spring from extending fully causing your sag.

    - Check the bushings between the suspension arms and the yolks on the chassis side. These bushings need to be torqued to spec on a loaded suspension and premature failure can occur if this was not done. The bushings actually have some spring rate to them so a few torn ones will create a sag.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

    Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
I don't think its always been like this as I'm sure I would have noticed. It was pointed out to me by someone a couple of weeks ago.
I'll check on all the advice.
