Anyone remember who made the reproduction tool pouches a couple of years ago that were so good? Are any available, especially with brown lining? Thanks.

I only remade the red and tan E series tool pouches. The L & M are different.

did Lyle Tanner make them, I seem to recall one of the US specialist shops did a batch of them?

    Ken,

I have one of the limited run high quality L and M series repro. tool pouches still brand new. Ended up getting an original tool roll when I did my resto. a few years back. PM me if interested. Happy to sell for my cost.

    Kind Regards,
    Paul

I think Ken is looking for one of Tony's repro E series brown lining bags? I know Tony didn't make many of them and they are probably long sold out.

Yes they are all gone now. I think Ken is looking for the L series pouch which I have never been able to get the correct material.

Damn those kits look good, if I say so myself :) ;-)

Those really are well, well done. Wish one was available. I think I've been able to find the correct tools, just need the pouch.

Be very observant with regards to the design of the pouch for your 246 L series. The early L series cars were equipped with the 206 style tool pouch and car jack and the tool pouch is a little different from the later L/M series pouch (See page 107/145 and 190 in the Dino compendium). I managed to find some vinyl that is close to the original fabric (Ebay) and have made replicas of both the tool and car jack pouch for my early L series for a fair cost. Nice project for those who can handle a scissor....

    Best Peter
