This appears to be it from the first two photos that have been leaked. Many were thinking it best to retire the 'F70 thread' and start anew with fresh, real info so here goes. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tani Hanna - the one who released the profile image from the customer preview invitation, just commented on Facebook to confirm these images are the real deal. >8^) ER
of course they are. the unveiling is in a few hours. this is it. fits all the speculation and imagery. the door design is spot on too.
Hope the total package is a bit better. Given all the hype by people who have seen it, this is nice, but it does not knock me off my feet. Maybe the side and rear views will help.
First I want to say that if it truly is LaFerrari, then we have some weird, crazy kids making cars for us in Maranello. Kinda has a catchy ring to it though. Also, props to Ingegnere on the accuracy of his drawings, and well done to Maranello for keeping some seriously tight secrecy on this project. Wow! Loving how it looks so far, can't wait to see it in the flesh in a few hours. The door looks quite interesting.
Ferrari LaFerrari? That's like "The La Trattoria" from Mickey Blue Eyes. Hopefully that's a red herring.
Seems legit. They definitely did a good job keeping it confidential, very minimal leak and just a day before it's official presentation.
I was skeptical on the name too, but the Gazzetta reporter who tweeted the doors-up picture referred to the car as 'LaFerrari'. If this was truly Luca's decision they should consider replacing him. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fits what I said last year.... La Ferrari is as close as they can get to just calling her Ferrari like I had said
Trying to read/figure what it says in the bottom of that magazine cover. Seems like it's 0-52mph in 2 seconds ??
I spoke a couple months ago in the 'F70' thread about the car having multiple suggested names from within Ferrari. Two of the proposed names were 'La Speciale' and 'La Ferrari'. I thought both of those ideas were scraped. La Ferrari would surprise me, as would La Speciale as I've known those names were ideas for months, but I didn't think either one would stick. Luca named the car himself and none of my friends or contacts have heard the 'official' name up to this point. FWIW I don't know the 'official' name either.
