My best guess is that being a limited edition they did not want to manage different front fenders / rear bumper versions for the different markets.

But the enzo is the only car where ALL the car included Euro spec cars have them. That's qhy I'm curious.

    I want an explanation.

Thanks Joe and Spider but it doesn't answer my question

LVP488 : Thanks, it can very probably be the reason, but they didn't repat it for the Laf (Thanks god)

I don't know why EuroSpec enzo have these orange side reflectors. At least one of the very first Enzo didn't have them in its early life. Also 135564 was rebuilt without these reflectors.

Thanks ! at least one of them didn't have them... I pretty much HATE those things. They RUIN every car and make them look cheaper.

It was the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II (from memory, not interested enough to double check) that had the holes for these reflectors on all cars, and on non-US cars they were covered by blank panels.
Again I think it's about standardizing the cars for all markets.

Road cars have to conform to transportation mandates.

As LVP488 suggested, these days, many manufacturers want to standardize a car that will meet mandates for all transportation jurisdictions. Thus, we see European cars with some features hitherto only seen on USA cars.

If you hate them on an Enzo you have two options: buy a car without them if you can find one, or have them removed.
