Hey, guys. Cool photos! I was looking at the engine bay, however, and wondered what the larger diameter section of pipe on the wastegate outlet is right before it hooks to the exhaust (as shown by the arrow I added). My 91 US version F40 doesn't have this larger section. Instead, the pipe is the same diameter all the way to the exhaust. An enquiring mind wants to know! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Does your car have the LM Tubi like mine? I would guess that it has something to do with the waste gate pipe, maybe a spark arrestor....just my thoughts.
Nope..... It's looks like Chris found someone that wanted his car more than he did. Chris, I hope you have replaced it with that 333SP you wanted. Congrates to the new owner. I was gonna say the same thing - that looks just like Chris Parr's F40... only now it has TX plates, not OK plates - looks like he did, in fact, find someone that wanted in more than him. I haven't seen Chris around lately, anyone know what he's been up to?
I try not to use a polarizer. I looked at the pics i took at Lime Rock this past summer and a lot were over-saturated, especially the cars. When used right, polarizers help, but they are not the fix - all for sunny days. You'll be pushed to find a photo pro that uses a polarizer. They are cool and all but imo they should be used with care Chris Proud D70 Owner
