Superformance UK ,the trim can be reused if you take very , very much attention to take off it (is glued with uretane compound round the glass and the body)

Maranello Classic parts also have them, though more expensive than Superformance. I bought a new one from Superformance earlier this year, not just because it was cheaper, but because they had blue top tint ones while Maranello only had clear or green.

I agree about the trim. Although Maranello have replacements in stock my windscreen fitter said there was no way it would fit. Luckily he managed to salvage the original one, but it took a lot of work.

Changing Ferrari glass is no fun! I've always been able to re-use the trim. Very tough to clean for re-use, but do-able.

Which upper windshield tint is correct for an early GT4: blue, green or clear?

No idea. Mine had blue before so that is what I wanted to replace. No idea if the previous one was original.

The windshield glass can have a slight tint, as the side glass does, but the early cars did not have the shaded, or darker area at the top. Maybe the later GT4's had this? Not sure.

yes, I was referring to the strip of tint on the top, not the overall tint of the glass. the judges didnt like it. although I find it very helpful myself.

    Hey Joe!

Who knows? My 79 Euro GT4 had a blue band when I bought it. No indication from history that bit wasn't an original screen - but there again no proof that it wasn't.

    No idea!

Last year I replaced it as I bought it, with a blue strip.Happy with that!

Can I expand this and ask what would be "correct" for a 308 QV for instance? Or for the rest of the 308's as well...?
