I'm posting this here because my friend who is a Ford GT owner has helped me work on and learn about my 328 more than any Ferrari owner I know. I've probably posted a few pictures of him on here wrenching on my 328. He's trying to get on the list to buy one of the new Ford GT's and has created a video application. If you feel inclined, check it out and give it a "like".

Steve is a true gearhead who's a fan of all high performance machinery. He is an Air Force Gulf War veteran who served as an F-15 engine mechanic before going on to complete his degree in engineering at University of Illinois. This isn't some rich guy looking to add to his collection of cars. He and his wife are both engineers in the aerospace industry.

A year after I bought my 328, Steve offered to help me do the major 60K mile service in his air conditioned garage (in Alabama that was a god send). After long nights over 3 weeks we finally finished it at 3 am on a Thursday night. As we sat and had a beer, Steve asked if he could keep one of the old valve shims that we had replaced for a keep sake to put in his tool box. That was 8 years ago. To this day when I open the top drawer of his tool box, that valve shim is sitting there. To me, that's the kind of guy Ford should be looking for to buy one of their new GT's. Help out a true gearhead! Pass it on!

We would drive together and park next to each other at the grocery store, Home Depot, Hooters, etc. and it always cracked people up with my Ferrari parked next to it. All in good fun.
