They are being machined, there is actually a lot of machined parts in this build I designed from scratch, even a couple 3D printed and then stainless cast parts as seen in the pic above.
I figured as much. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the logo but I get it, advertising and all. But the set-up looks cool and solid. And functional unlike something like this that just looks cool but really doesn't accomplish much of anything other than aesthetics..... Gorgeous Velocity Stacks, No Air Filters. This is Nicks personal engine so it's got a few neat goodies and thousands of hrs of R&D poured into experimental parts. At this point the only factory parts are the bare block, heads and crank. Branding is a good thing
They were left over boots from another project re-purposed, mouser has them. I had to modify them to fit by notching them though. I can dig up a part number tomorrow if needed, but I think they are a 4 pin boot.
Fantastic work - almost looks too nice to ever use (though I doubt that will be the case). Nice to see innovation on the 3x8 engines.
Gorgeous. I've been wanting to do this to mine for a long time but I'm afraid I don't have the skill or the money.
