just googling around, I thought this was kind of neat. Well, second thought, a little wide there on the front. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Kind of reminds me of how body builders distort their bodies. I like some mild body mods but this is not to my taste.
Khyzyl Saleem does photorealistic renderings, but they aren't real; he's a professional graphic designer for EA games. Nonetheless, some sweet concepts. This one kind of reminds me of a Death Race/Mad Max 308. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not neat at all. As usual...the original is the best. That's why they are called designers. But I do like the color.

Great fantasy renderings. Wonderful imagination. Amazing graphic quality. Looking at Saleem's work, it is striking to me just how contemporary he has made the 308 look without changing the proportions of the car's central core. It shows me just how timeless that design is. If these fantasy cars were build and put on the showroom floor, there would be people buying them.
I've had a couple exchanges with him online. Great guy and he doesn't mind that he pisses off people by destroying his cars. I've been following him for over a year now and his skills are just getting better. He's an amazing designer and if I had enough money and a large collection it would be fun to do one of his cars for real!
I'd love to get a salvage 308 and do this with a corvette engine or something in the back. It looks like it would be a blast to drive. You could probably get 450mm tires on that thing!
Mental note: DO NOT hire this guy with that portfolio. Good he doesn't mind, so he wont be offended if I think his work on the 308 is poo.
All of these cars really do highlight just how right Pininfarina got it with the 288 GTO! Not too much (as pretty much all of the cars pictured in this thread are), and not too little!
Mike - I think that's actually real. Looks like Bob Notwood's dragster. Image Unavailable, Please Login
