Very nice to see the car being driven and an interesting restoration story.

Always loved a GTB in white or yellow. Nice to see that one hitting the streets in context.

For anyone else wondering... press the 'CC' button at the bottom of the youtube window to get English subtitles ('closed captions' in US parlance)

Beautiful camera work....that 308 looks stunning being driven through the city and back roads and those aerial shots are amazing.

No, the cc say the first Ferrari V8, the 308 GTB was glass, talking about the history of the GTB. This car is not glass.

Lovely story and good job. Very jealous that he found a NOS exhaust system!

Yes, my error in the excitement of listening to that beautiful exhaust tone. I can now see your point where they were talking about history and not this particular car.

    It's a very late 78, 79 or 80 car. It's got struts.

Cool to see him and his buddies in the garage. They likely don't have all the resources that we do in North America or Europe but still having just as much fun and figuring it out as they go along. Hats off for driving the darn thing!

Great film, lovely drone work & I loved seeing the tail out on the country roads. Top guy,

There's no way I would daily drive a 308 in the middle of Bangkok for a big chunk of the year, though. No amount of 308 a/c tweaking would get enough steam out the cabin. I guess the locals are more used to it :)

Very beautiful images, color, and I agree with sltillim about the work done in Bangkok...
At least he's really drive its 308 and even strongly.

It is really hard to date the car, it has 2 rear fog light which become standard in UK (RHD car with dry sump) in April 1980. It has the window seal of the GTS that become standard on GTB end on 1979 so it could be a mid 1980 car but at the same time, it has still the cigarette lighter from before May, 1979...
I agree with dflett, it has a wrong steering wheel from a GT4.

Very good observations! But they did fit that steering wheel to many GTB/S around that time. Mine is one of them. Further backs up its a steel euro car.

To contradict myself, it has the spoiler for a non euro car as it has the holes, whereas the euro car is solid. Mind you he could have picked that spoiler up from anywhere via ebay.

    Beautiful movie!
We have a FChatter from Bangkok here with a yellow 308 GTB (patpong). Is it him?

    Best Regards

I tried leaving a comment on the Petrolicious site for the owner to come and say 'Hi' here but the site's not working for me on Safari.

(Normally it uses the wrong credentials for my comments but this time they don't seem to be working at all)
