Maybe the first question should be is it even an original piece? You're looking at 75 Dino GT4.
I'll be the one doing the repairing if that matters

The little button doesn't pop out to hold it up anymore. I did search around a little but couldn't find anything here.

    Thanks.

Mine was like that from sitting for 25 years. Just put some penetrating oil on the ball and it soaked in, lossened up and popped back out. I'm sure the guy who rebuilds the hydraulic ones can rebuild it too. It is original for a GT4.

Use lots oi WD-40 orang oil to lube the ball loose. Keep pressing it till it s loose. Sometimes they get rusted and get stuck.

This one isn't stuck, it was well lubed and just flops around in there now. I should try mounting it with facing down and see if it falls into the hole, call that the easy fix.
I'll keep searching before I have at taking it apart.

    Thanks guys!

I have a couple extras in pretty decent shape. Will be traveling back home Thursday and can send you a photo of them if you like ?
Should note that these are for the 308 GTB/GTS series, I guess they're the same.
