For an F355, you can simply install the HVAC overlay in centigrade:

(they are available in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade)

For the 348, there is simply a small jumper block on one of the circuit boards in your HVAC controller. If memory serves correctly, when the jumper block is in place, it'll display Fahrenheit. When you remove it, the unit will display in Centigrade.

    Hi,

Sorry, it is for a 348 spider from 1994

You need to open the HVAC control unit (the push button controller). There is a plastic jumper on one of the two circuit boards. I think it is the rearward board. Remove that jumper entirely, and re-install the unit.

(Anyone else have a picture of it? I cannot recall from memory)

    Hello.. from Thailand

Attached is the pic of A/C control unit on 348 TS, UK version, 1992.
In the red oval, there is a jumper on J1 and no jumper on J2.

So, to change setting from F to C, then I just need to remove jumper from J1, right?

Just want to be sure, before cook this thousand USD thing.

    Hi

Did you have any success with removing the jumper to get C instead of F?

Since we are on the display subject, does anybody know how to change the clock on my 348 spider from the 24 hour format to 12?

Yeah and my button cover on the clock seems to be jammed or stickied up or something.

Which unit do you have? Internally, the two are completely different.

The one pictured in Post #10, is the later unit (black backshell), and shows the jumper (for J1 / J2) installed, which gives the Fahrenheit reading (as per the discussion).

Here's a picture of mine which shows no jumper (for J1 / J2), and its display was/is indeed in Celsius.
