    Hey Gang,

Let's keep this a fact thread and not a $h!t storm. I'm still learning the differences and I think it would be nice to have a thread that defines them.

    - 95's have no alarm or immobilizers (therefore no FOB's)
    - 95's are OBD I, 96-99 are OBD II.
    - related to OBDII, 95's do not have post CAT O2 sensors
    - 95's do not have a post bypass valve thermocouple
    - 95's do not have a glove box between the seats
    - 95's do not rear bumper (black area) has no vents. 96-99 have slotted vents
    - The secondary air pump in the 95 is a different design than others
    - 95's have no access panels behind driver or passenger seats
    - I've read (please confirm), 95's delivered to the USA had no option for stereo systems
    - 95's do not have the riveted trim piece above the center tail light mesh panel
    - 95's (maybe other years?) do not have thumb screws for the access panels under the front bonnet - they have snaps (my 98 has screws)

    - mid-94 to early 1995 use 22mm wheel inserts. Later cars use 23mm.
    - mid-94 - late-95 cars use dual fuel pumps. Later cars use single pump.

Good idea Dave, and very worthy.

However, if this thread is still rooted in actual facts by the end of page 1 I'll eat my hat.

    :)

Different design on header collectors. On the 95 the bypass collectors merge inward.

Different bypass pipe. Y shaped on the 95.

Separate paths for the inlet boxes on the 95.

Do you mean mid 94 to early 95?

My 95 is a June Production and has single pump.

95s pull air to the engine through the C pillar.

Later cars pull through the door vent.

My 97 has snaps too so that might have been a change for the last couple years.

It is actually an engine # cutoff, so I can't pin it to an exact month -- and I'm not sure things were exactly linear in their engine->production month back then.

95's rear bumper has diffuser attachment brackets fibreglassed onto bumper
Later cars have selftapping screws that neatly attach the brackets.
Same arrangement for the silencer heatshield.

    Two undertrays on a 95
Later cars had 3.... Ferrari split the main one into 2 pieces.

The factory was not organised back then.

My UK August 1995 GTS has

    2 fuel pumps
2 undertrays (since replaced with newer 3 trays)
    Rear bumper with vents

Aren't the ecus behind them? On'95's the ecus are in the rear of the engine compartment under the rain shields so no need for the panels.

Are you sure about that? The fuel line recall 156 (not fuel block recall) which effected dual fuel pump cars, ended at assembly 19291 or S/N: 102548
