A Danville Dandy- Ferrari F355 GTB for sale in Northern California | Steven Sports Car No affiliation, my dad sent me the link. Could be a good car minus stickies!
Waiting on a call back from the dealer. Said he had someone coming today to look at he car. He paint metered the car and it is a no paintwork car! LOL, to most of the peoples suprise here im sure. Its a 3 owner for $75k.
A little rich I think. Nice cars for high prices still sit for a long time. Quick sale clean cars are between $40-$55K. Occaisionally one gets lucky. A Ferrari is hard to sell generally. Definetly a PITA to sell, particularly to the 30-50K buyer...
There have been quite a few wanted ads recently for 95 berlinetta. If you know of clean ones available in the 40-55k range they should be an easy flip.
A pretty nice car with a clean title just sold under 30K. It was a GTS with higher mileage but a desireable edition none the less. It sold in a couple of days.
It needed a good cleaning. So what.? He sorted the mechanicals and drove it. I've seen a lot worse asking more... and sitting around. Not uncommon
The car was beat. It had the highest mileage ever recorded @ 90K. Sure, it could be restored, but there was a clear reason why the asking price was 29K. Lets not kid ourselves.
C'mon Eric. Stop goofing around. You can drive these things in the rain you know. And Santa does not exist ok?
75k for a clean 95 is not unreasonable in my opinion. Supply and demand applies. I've witness two F355 GTB's sell for mid to high 60s in the last two weeks.
Worth saving for sure but your "pretty nice" equals my "needs a complete restoration". There have been a few recent berlinetta sales, many in the high 60's and some in the 70's and 80's. (they were pretty nice)
James, I agree that the 355 a special, appreciation worthy car. There are special cars within the model that are especially valuable. A 95 GTS with the F1 top is one of those cars. It has the best colour combo for resale available if that was ones perogative. A clean title is another big +. You could enjoy this car and by the time the 355 realizes "sustainable", "real money" true valuations, it really wouldn't matter the "patina" that came with the car. The rise in valuation on "some " 355, does not reflect a model stand alone increase in value. And it is not permanent.
If anyone finds a lower-mileage 1995 GTB or GTS which is fully sorted I will pay 75k for it tomorrow. Fully sorted = recent major, no stickies, guides handled, cats handled, headers handled, dash issues handled, solid PPI. I watch the market closely. These are unicorns. Dreamer's car was the last one and it sold around 80k and probably would have gone for more.
Waiting to here from the seller. I asked fo better pictures but he said he had none. Its a little odd.
+1 Cheese... I'd pause, and take two weeks to read every thread in this section that goes back to the beginning of time. You'll be better for it and properly prepared in your search for the right car... Robb
I'm on fence on my 95 GTB RC. It has 43k stickies, headers, buttress's, 30k all complete. New engine motor mounts, heat shields, rear shock rebuild, wheels redone, and drivers seat and ebrake redone. Purchased in 10' with 28k from Scottsdale Ferrari. Has all books, car cover and red satin seat covers, tool kit, tubi, and fabspeed headers. Cats and guides are factory to my knowledge. Certainly did ask when I purchased car. Front bumber has a recent respray on it. Am I crazy at 62K? I'm not ready to commit yet but close. Just trying to get read on things. She is not a garage queen but looks like one. Thoughts....
Tony, Only my opinion. People were buying this car 2 years sgo at $60k You are a bit low. If you set the bar at a perfect '95 car with 20-30k miles at $75 to $80k currently - Then your car just just takes a small hit because of miles - maybe a $5k deduct. So more like $70k Buyers would pay over $80k for a low miles (less than 20k miles) '95 Berlinetta - especially in red. I'd move your post to the ads. Good luck with sale. Robb
thank you, she is everything I wanted her to be and has only surpassed my expectations in pleasure, attention, and dollars.
