Sorry to disappoint you but NO its not what you guys are thinking about! Although the first thing that would "pop" into my mind is "KY". No am asking what is the best lubricant that I can use on my ts, when my top is on I have some noise coming from where the rubber gaskets meet both on the front section and rear. Although the rear is not so noisy.

I've used Vaseline on mine although I have no noise or creaking at all. I like to keep the rubber lubed to stop it from drying out.
This thread is starting to sound like something from 50 Shades of Grey:)

I think Vaseline has a long term negative effect on rubber. Stay with silicone.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the rubber. It protects and keeps the rubber looking like new.

The absolute daddy of all squeak stoppers is krytox spray. Colourless, odourless, no residue at all and does not interact with rubber. It also stays effective for a very long time.

    Krytox is made by Dupont.
