Car looks amazing doesn't it? I would have it in a heart beat, but not for those dollars of course. These where for sale when I bought my 348 10 years ago. They were asking nearly double the price of my car, circa around AU $200K. I didn't see double the car, so I didn't bother trying to buy one. Almost wish I did now.
The GTC is the epitome of the 348 line. Plus, this one is a museum piece and the rarest of all (one of 8). Spectacular in both presentation and price. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As far as we can tell, there were 8 RHD for the UK market, and another two or possibly three RHD exported to more exotic locations. Hard to know for sure....all part of the mystique
Like many others I used to not be so keen on the slatted rear of my 348, preferring the 355 round lighted rear, but got to say that thought is now in the past, I now love the 348 rear just exactly as it is! Is it just my eyes or does this GTC have some evidence of a repaint masking around the model detail sticker, if so we aren't just talking a common front clip or hood rock chip tidy up!
I know mate, unfortunately I paid cash for my car and I didn't have the extra $85K needed to buy the GTC. I could have financed it, but I wasn't too sure about getting a car loan for a Ferrari. I don't regret it, I love my car. But this would have been cool to have because of what it is, not because of it's value today.
