How on earth do the three knobs on the HVAC panel come off? I tried pulling but things started cracking. Is there a trick here? Thanks
Just wondering why you need to remove them? Helpful thread here on refurbing: Ferrari 355 HVAC refurb inc control knobs
Aaaaahhhh got it. Split white and black parts at the seams and they pop apart. Circlip pliers makes the rest come apart. Thanks!
Hey look at that. Pull the circlips. Press an 8MM socket on to the knob retaining clips on the back and pull on the knob. It pops right out.
I don't think the OEM one was soft but then its hard to tell when its all blown up and bubbly. This one below is as good as it gets and only came out to market a short time ago. The fonts and artwork are exactly as the OEM Ferrari one and is the only one to match perfectly. I am going to replace my Hill one with this one soon. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Much better. The HE one had too large fonts and a thick chuncky line. This one more sleek like original
This was bought to our attention a few weeks ago and we have now up-issued the artwork along with a number of other small improvements. Thank you for letting us know about this.
The HE version used to be the only one available and obviously was better than the sticky mess Ferrari provided, but it was not, and is not good enough for those that want to "restore" their car where accuracy matters. I'll continue to enjoy other HE products and I thank them for their sponsorship, but opted for the best out of NY. Robb
Thanks. I ask because I have an original HVAC panel that is still in perfect condition on a concours car, plus a Hill overlay on my driver. It will be interesting to compare... what's the source for the new overlay?
Lets stop tip toeing through the tulips shall we.....The guy does great work for our Ferraris and we are supposed to pretend on the largest Ferrari chat site that he doesn't exist? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lmao. Finally Guido. MCJoe is daverocks. The other alternative is what he offers. How old are we all really? This is Rob Lays website. Let him deal with this all.
