Might be best used as a track car if the mechanicals are solid. Looks like it needs a little love, but has potential.

If that car is in the state that it might be best used as a track car then 60% of the 355s I've seen for sale in the last 5 years were no better then track cars.

Just think this is over $40k less then a 95B that recently sold. You can do a lot of cleaning and buffing for 40 thousand dollars.

What 95B sold for 22.5k? That was not a salvage title?

I think he means the other way on the math, as in this could be a good buy at 40k less than a 355 that sold for 100

97 Spider,
All i'm saying is I pay between 110 to 150 an hour to have my car worked on. If I had the skills of many on here it may be a different picture for me. This car does make sense for lots of guys on here that do their own work.

Beautiful color. I'd be proud to own it - and knock it back into proper condition.

But I'm with Tim with too many of the model. We need some diversity.

I actually like the color but think the price is a bit high given the condition plus the fact that it needs a major. In addition to all that, how about valve guides, headers, cats?

Add all that up and you can find plenty of other cars for sale with similar mileage and better color combos.

Gullwing Motors is not known for "preparing cars for sale". He does get some interesting stuff but I have seen many that would make this car look like it is ready to go on the lawn at Pebble Beach. Just Peter Kumar's approach I guess. Hey, if you watch Chasing Classic Cars you know that he is a "good friend" of Wayne at F40 Motorsports though.

Yeah, one would think a car dealer might, you know, have the car detailed before listing it for sale to maybe help sell it and bring the most $$$.

I would much prefer seeing a car before detailing.
True story of car. Most all look like that or worse before if not a museum piece...
If somebody needed to detail it before sale you just don't know.

So this car is Still for sale. Makes me wonder if its the car itself or the color thats hurting it..

Personally I still really like the color!

May have sold at the time and come back into stock as a part ex recently? happens a lot.

I do like the exterior colour, not a fan of light interiors though

Could probably be had in the 40s. Decent deal...do a vinyl wrap and make it whatever colour you want.
