Passed the 50k milestone. This car continues to amaze me. So fun to drive. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good for you! I drove mine all over Colorado today and had a blast myself. It's really the full package. These cars have to go up in value, everyone loves seeing them on the road! Including me. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Hey -- we have the same car in the same state! 1995; Red/Tan. Hope to see you at an upcoming Cars/Coffee etc.
Congratulations! Only if people realized the ones with higher mileage run so much better. I don't know if it's an LA thing but I've never had a negative reaction to my 355. Everyone that does/says anything it's either a thumbs up, picture or asks something nice about it. I think most people can tell, especially when the pop up lights are up, that the car is old but not too old and they appreciate the beautiful design.
I think I saw you on 93, I was coming back from Boulder to Golden, if it was you, your car looked amazing. I called my wife and told her about seeing a F355 on the road. They look so amazing out and about, so much more so than parked in a garage. I was in a gray 997 turbo. I drove my F355 yesterday. The weather has been so good lately its been fun exercising my cars.
Mine has 70k miles. Runs and drives great but it's been thoroughly maintained throughout its life. I'm the second owner. I'm not a collector...I'm an automobile enthusiast and the 355 is a blast to drive. I'd rather not be worrying about the miles I'm putting on a garage queen. I drove almost 5k miles last year.
I also drive it year round in Colorado as ling as it is above 45 degrees and there is no gravel left from the plow trucks.
Awesome! Cars that get driven regularly and maintained properly are the best running Ferraris. These cars do not like to sit. 66k and counting.
Nice! You are catching up to the mileage on my 308. But my 348 has a ways to go to catch your 355 mileage. Spring and Daylight Saving Time just around the corner.
Love this thread. About enjoyment without worry of saving our F's for next of kin! Anyone know who has the highest mile 348/355 on this board? Should be bragging rights...
I agree about enjoying it. One of my favorite things to do is heel and toe a downshift and squeeze the throttle through a nice twisty! Does not get much better.
Wow, I thought I had the highest mileage car here: 55k miles (bought it 10 years ago with 13k) Glad to hear you're getting your money's worth! Congrats
Just found this earlier posting from a UK member. 108k miles and still asking GBP 55k. I wonder what it costs to rebuild a 355 engine. For a Porsche 911 993 (air-cooled) engine it's about $15k; so when people sell those they can advertise as rebuilt and cite 'new' engine mile since to get decent money. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/508630-high-mileage-f355-uk-still-priced-high.html
