Thinking about buying a gated 355. Decision is between a Silver 1995 Berlinetta or a Black 1997 Spider, both with Nero Interior. Thoughts? Flame away!!

Black looks better, but will be harder to maintain. With a convertible, you get 2 cars.

You want to buy a car based on your preferences or mine? If mine, 95b all the way.

Silver berlinetta hands down between those two. Then again, I'd prefer a GTS to either of them.

No flaming if you plan to add to, instead of replace, the 348. :)

Replace :-( But I see more upside in the 355. I see the value of the 2.7 OBD1 in that car and can daily drive the GTB.

All things considered, I would prefer a GTS. Yet as driver and long term value, I think the GTB is the better choice. The Spider has some negatives.

    Also, what about a 360 F1? - LOL

    I can see adding a 355 GTB as a daily (i.e. consuming ;) ), or a 360 for that matter. But I think that you'll regret selling the 348. Granted, I wouldn't use a 348 Spider as a DD either.

Quick question, when you say DD, that's not the same as a daily commuter, correct?

Commuter! I get to avoid most traffic and cars need to be driven. I insure through Geico and will invoke the appraisal clause if we have a serious accident. I want to keep the miles off my RAM, LOL!

Your Sig makes a great case!

To others, I think I will miss 348. Been considering a 360, but the shape and style of 355 is just so attractive!

Argento? Either way it will be more comfortable in the sun. Black on Black Spider and you will fry.

I have grigio spider, so I recommend you get both (or get the black spider and paint it silver). :)

FWIW, one of my cars is black and it's a pia to keep up with - 5 minutes after detailing you can see pollen dust on it. But in those first 5 minutes man is it gorgeous. My 355 is grigio titanio, and never shows any dust or pollen.
