Life is short. Don't we all know it. So, It may be a perfect time for me to move into a 355 F1 for a little variety. I really enjoyed Dave's and Grant's car and think the paddles could be perfect for more time on track. If you have a Berlinetta or gts with an F1 that you may be wanting to part with (especially in blue........) send me a pm or email. Let's see how deep the rabbit hole goes. One of my Dr's races a GT3. Were doing a track day this fall and we'll see what happens Not like I dont have enough cars to go around LOL I did swear off porsche as I had enough of those beetle wanna bee's
It would be a slow fat one LOL One of my friends had a cig boat and everytime we took it out it would be a month or so before we could walk correct again. Not sure why LOL
+1! Got a 12c six months ago, still completely blows my mind every time I drive it. Seriously Robb, try something different. Getting into the 355 after driving the 12c feels like Mattel's "My First Sports Car" One cool thing about McLaren is now you can extend the warranty up to 12 years from the original in-service date. So my 2012 is eligible for warranty coverage through 2024, pretty sweet.
Yuup that too the warr Best thing put them in fat mode and its like driving a luxury car in traffic not some animal ready to explode Very well done car
Congrats on the 12c. I think we need to see a photo to reinforce your point! Not sure I need a faster car than the 355 but vertical doors carry a premium. Robb
The day I got it below. These cars are really worth a test-drive, please do yourself a favor and check one out. You can drive mine next time you're in town! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful car - almost the exact spec of a local owner... My buddy in LA LOVES Mac's but they depreciate like pigs
Thanks! Yes they do depreciate but that's why I let the other guy take the fall. Bought it 4 years old with only 2k miles.
That's not too bad considering some of our cars cost nearly that much to maintain anyway. A friend of mine who owns a dealer turned away a 12C on trade in because it needed a steering rack or something and the quote from McLaren was like 1/5th the cost of the car. With the 720S around the corner I bet MP4 prices come down further. To be honest though I think the MP4 is much nicer than the 650S. I like the understated looks. It's a future classic.
