    Guys,

Please be careful when ordering new trim parts that have been previously listed as NLA (no longer available)

Just a few weeks back, we ordered a replacement trim for 355 spider switches - the result was a new OEM part, genuine. The quality was pure crap - the worst molding I've even seen and different plastic than normal - total garbage.

This past week we received a brand new, genuine OEM 355 mirror control trim P/N: 70002900 from a customer to refinish. Same deal - total garbage.

See attached (poor, sorry) pics. Terrible plastic, not straight, poor surface finish. Once we strip the soft touch, I'm guessing we will be doing a lot of work to make this part acceptable for paint.

That billboard for you Mr Dee? hahaha.

As an ex-plastics guy I can offer two things:

    1. That's not the easiest part in the world to mold
    2. Who ever attempted that particular part failed miserably.
