    I think it's actually the retaining bracket for the cam position/faze sensor male plug, on the back of the 1/4 bank intake cam. Top right hand side of the head looking in from the rear of the engine bay (1/4 cylinder bank).

    The crank sensor bracket actually has two notches in it versus just one for the cam sensor.

    Its also used for the crank pos sensor pass side on 95 355(updated part)
